My husband and I have been married since October 2003. 3 years ago we started to discuss buying our first home. Our original thought was to move out of state, but after two failed attempts (job issues) we realized we were stuck decided to stay in Northern Virginia because this is the best place for my husbands career. After a disappointing search for a rental, we were presented with an amazing opportunity and we took it! We are now in the process of building our first home, which has been a dream of mine since I was 12. I am so excited to share this process with you :)
